The Challenge
A Tony, a Drama Desk, and an Outer Critics Circle Award — with nowhere to put them together.
Michael Chapman's Broadway credits span more than a dozen productions, from Fiddler on the Roof to Plaza Suite. His recognition — a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, and an Outer Critics Circle Award — existed as separate honors with no single piece that told the whole story at a glance.
The Approach
One presentation. Every credit.
We designed a gallery-ready award composition centered on the Tony medallion, framed by the poster art from his own productions, and paired it with an exterior credits wall for physical installation — the same treatment later echoed in the window branding work we did for Emmanuel Pierre Antoine Dance Studio in New York.
The Result
From leading man to event director.
The identity work carried Chapman's name with the weight his career had earned — groundwork that came full circle when he later stepped in as Event Director for the Millennium DanceSport Championships, a relationship Six Gates Media has continued to support.
